Facials: If it’s good for your inside, it’s good for your outside…

 One rule of thumb about ingredients for facials is “if it’s good for your inside, it’s good for your outside”.  Within limits this is true.

Facials help keep your skin in the pink of health.  In addition to deep cleaning they tone and stimulate the complexion.  A really good facial will nourish your skin as well as provide vital nutrients to keep your complexion young and fresh.

The facial itself should only take 15 minutes but if you go for the works set aside 30 min. The works is one of the nicest things you can do for your skin. It consists of steaming your face with a gently aromatic mixture of herbs, applying a mask, and then rinsing with an herbal splash.(see previous posts under Beauty)

Check out some of my other posts that contain some recipes for facial masks that may seem more appropriate for a salad bowl than for your face.  But Ninnie has written to give some of these unusual mixtures a try, and you will be convinced.
