How To Prevent Dark Bananas

Hint from Ninnie: To prevent bananas from turning dark toss them in lemon juice.

Another useful tip from me to you is that IF you did not toss them (like me) and they are already dark (like mine) you can peel, slice and freeze them for use later in smoothies…yum!

I also found this interesting site on some health benefits from bananas that I thought I would share.

P.S. When the site says to never freeze your bananas they mean never freeze the whole banana with peels…yuck.
